This course equips learners with a basic understanding of issues and problems pertaining to interlanguage and intercultural communication. It introduces intercultural theories, frameworks and models to students without a linguistics background and to link those to intercultural communication in practice. It fosters awareness-building and a deeper level of understanding of the complexities and realities of intercultural communication relevant to various work settings.
