This half-day workshop will teach participants about the connections between emotions and mental health. It will show how basic mindfulness can be used to regulate emotions and hence, improve mental well-being. After understanding, it seeks to encourage participants to learn and practice techniques during the Mindfulness Experiential Session. These will help their ability to evoke positive emotions and silence self-destructive thoughts.

A/Prof Angie Chew is the Principal Mindfulness Trainer of Brahm Centre, a qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction trainer by Brown University School of Public Health and a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy Course teacher trained by Oxford Mindfulness Centre. She is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Mindfulness at the NUS. Lily Gan is a certified senior mindfulness trainer of Brahm Centre.
