This course will help you gain an understanding of Bone Health for women. Through the course, you will learn about bone health, risk factors, diet requirements, classifications, symptoms, management, and prevention of osteoporosis. You will also learn Singapore’s Physical Activities Guidelines and observe demonstrations of exercises for women with and without osteoporosis.

Jane Koh Eng Kiou

Jane Koh Eng Kiou is a Stott Pilates certified Instructor in Mat work. She teaches Pilates to people of all ages, corporate and private clients. In practicing Pilates with Jane Koh, one will learn the anatomy of the body, the various muscle groups, the 5 basic principles and practice routines to a taller, stronger, more flexible body without injury. She believes very strongly that when our minds understand and properly control the body, our bodies will work in the most efficient and effective manner.

Adjunct Assistant Porfessor, Huang Zhongwei

Dr. Huang holds an MBBS, PhD (Oxon), and various prestigious qualifications, including MRCOG, M.Med (O&G), FAMS (O&G), FAMS (Clinician-scientist), and ABS (Diplomate). He is the Deputy Director at both the NUS Bia-Echo Asia Centre for Reproductive Longevity and Equality and the Undergraduate Medical Education, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at NUS Medicine. Additionally, he serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Mechanobiology Institute, NUS, a Research Clinician at A*STAR, and a Consultant in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at NUH.
