Mobility Aiders (MASTC)
The "Mobility Aiders" program is an innovative initiative designed to support senior citizens by ensuring their mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and commodes, are in optimal condition. Through this program, volunteers come together weekly to repair and service these crucial aids, enhancing the quality of life for wheelchair users. Experienced volunteers mentor newcomers, fostering a community of skilled and compassionate helpers.
Additionally, the program extends its reach into the community and schools through an outreach campaign. A unique feature of this program is the "wheelchair experience," where senior volunteers partner with youth and community members.
