KKH Therapeutic Touch for Infants' Health Programme
Senior women volunteers are specially trained to provide new-borns with the much needed therapeutic touch at hospital settings which fosters their growth and developmental potential. At the same time, it is hoped that the programme can provide additional emotional support to parents, allow nurses to focus better on the infants’ medical needs, as well as have positive impact on the well-being of older women in Singapore.
