Seniors (from left) Margaret Tan, 65; Choo Yang Hong, 71; and Stella Ong, 68, at a flower arrangement class yesterday. The session, by Far East Flora, was part of the launch of the Golden Work series by the People's Association Senior Academy at Tanjong Pagar Community Club. This offers seniors internships and part-time and light work opportunities such as floral arrangement, tea-packing and product promoting – helping them to pick up fresh job skills and stay active while earning some pocket money, too.
