Arabic Level 3 (Conducted Online)
This 10-week course is designed to provide an insight to the targeted language and understanding of its culture. This Level 3 course is designed to help participants bring their language skills in Arabic to an advanced level. Participants will attain a high standard of proficiency by expanding reading and comprehension skills, building up their vocabulary acquisition, strengthening their knowledge of Arabic grammar, and broadening their awareness and appreciation of the Arab culture.

Trainer's Profile
Dr Salawdeh Omar
Omar Salawdeh is the Convenor of the Arabic Program. He holds a B.A in English Language and Literature from Kuwait University and an M.A in Linguistics from the State University of Campinas (Brazil). He received his Advanced Studies Diploma and his Ph.D. in Arabic and Islamic Studies from Cadiz University (Spain) in 2005 and 2007 respectively. Prior to joining the Centre for Language Studies at NUS, Omar worked as a Term Assistant Professor of Arabic at George Mason University in the United States from 2008-2012, where he taught courses on Arabic language and culture at all levels.
