Building Meaningful Befriending Relationships

At the end of this workshop participants will have a deeper understanding of the role and importance of a befriender in bringing about meaningful relationships. Participants will be able to learn about: Befriending and its benefits, the key attributes and skills of a confident and effective Befriender and the roles and responsibilities of a Befriender. The skills learnt will allow participants to either gain the confidence to take on a Befriender role in the community or better enhance their skills to be a better Befriender.
