The course is designed for learners to develop an ability to represent the human form through drawing with precision, expression, and artistic flair. Through a series of progressive exercises, learners will develop a strong foundation in anatomy, proportion, gesture, and foreshortening with various drawing techniques. Emphasis will also be placed on capturing the essence of movement and understanding the interplay of light and shadow on the body. By the end of the course, learners will have acquired the skills necessary to depict the human form in their artistic pursuits.

Erwin Lian
Erwin is a highly experienced lecturer with over a decade of teaching experience in local institutions, specializing in Tradition and Digital Art foundation. He is an expert in live demonstrations and his artwork has been featured in various publications such as The Artist's Magazine, The Modern Met, and Watercolor Artist. In addition to teaching, Erwin also undertakes commissioned work and has completed projects for clients including NUS, Royal Bhutan Airlines, Drukasia, and Bank of Singapore. Erwin's entrepreneurial spirit led him to successfully raise over USD$100,000 through two crowdfunding campaigns in 2014 and 2015 to create The Perfect Sketchbook, a premium watercolor sketchbook designed for professional artists.Reviews on Course
