Microgreen Workshop

We teach participants how to grow Microgreens in the comfort of their homes. Quick and easy to grow, they can be harvested for eating in just 7 days! Learners will be taught using organic soil as a primary medium. They will learn about different types of seed germination through clear guided instruction. They will also be introduced to other growing platforms besides soil. In addition, they will also learn the nutritional benefits of eating Microgreens. Participants will get to bring home their Microgreens. This life skill acquired can help in our effort towards self-sufficiency in our food security.

Dina Sim Cheng Mei

Dina has taught over 350 students since 2021 to grow microgreens via both online and physically classes. She is also a certified health coach of Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and certified diet and nutrition consultant from ITEC (UK). Dina also founded Verdura Pod, to connect people back to mother nature by growing your own food, knowing your food sources and also advocates eating whole food, where food is medicine. She is currently undertaking ACLP program with IAL.
