About the Programme

This family-friendly educational booth introduces participants to the language, culture and knowledge of the Orang Laut and Orang Pulau communities through an interactive learning experience. Learn words commonly used by Singapore’s Southern Islanders through a game of

Pulau Lingo! Engage your senses by identifying indigenous plants and molluscs important to islander cuisine and traditional medicine through smell and touch.
