In response to the rising number of cases of animal cruelty, The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA) has organized various roadshow events to reach out to the community and educate the public on the importance of responsible pet ownership. The AVA is also keen to partner with Ngee Ann Polytechnic to conduct workshops on responsible pet ownership for public education. This workshop aims to educate and equip new and existing cat owners with in-depth knowledge and practical skills on how to provide optimum care for their cat to ensure that each cat is provided with basic medical care and to reduce the number of abuse, neglect, and abandonment cases.
